How to Donate Items

Your donated items assist those who come to us in need and become enrolled in one of our programs. Below are lists of items typically requested. [If you are a member of a church or community group, please consider hosting a drive for us. Catholic Charities’ Staff would be happy to pick up the items from the drive and provide a presentation about the work of the Agency and how your efforts impact our community members in need.]

To donate furniture, please call or text Janine, our Furniture Donation Coordinator at 607-317-5521 or send an email to schedule a pick-up. A photo of each item will be required before pickup is scheduled. Pick-ups are scheduled for Wednesday mornings between 9:00 am and 12:30 pm. (Schuyler County donations will have varying pick-up times.) Furniture items must be clean; tear-free and stain-free; no broken or electric items can be accepted. We reserve the right to refuse any item upon inspection. All donations must be on the first/ground floor.

Other smaller items may be donated at either of these locations unless otherwise specified. Please package donations in clear bags or grocery bags.
